He was attainable. I couldn't very well go and try to sleep with my boss. Jack wouldn't go for it anyway, probably. I...Ianto had all of his issues with his robot girlfriend.

Owen was there. I needed someone I could just talk to about all the shit that was going on and it turned into sex. And that's all it was, sex. I was just lost and losing myself and there's no excuse for what I did to Rhys.

But I love Rhys. I never loved Owen. He was too much of a prat.
